Are you looking to step away from a Skool community and need to cancel your subscription? No problem!
This guide will walk you through the process of unsubscribing, ensuring you won’t be charged moving forward.
Before You Cancel:
- Consider any remaining value: Have you used up all the features or content you paid for? If not, you might want to wait until the subscription period ends to maximize your value.
- Leaving the Community: If you simply want to leave a specific Skool group, you can do so without canceling your subscription. However, you’ll need to cancel first if you want to completely stop payments.
Here’s How to Cancel:
- Head to Settings: Log in to your Skool account and navigate to your profile settings.
- Find the Community: Within settings, locate the “Communities” tab and find the specific group you’re subscribed to.
- Manage Membership: Click on “Membership settings” for that particular community.
- Cancel the Subscription: Within the membership settings, you’ll see the option to “Cancel subscription.” Click on it to proceed.
- Provide Feedback (Optional): Skool might ask for a brief explanation for canceling. This helps them improve their service, so consider leaving some feedback if you’d like.
- Confirmation: Once you confirm the cancellation, your Skool subscription for that community will be terminated. You won’t be charged again.
Alternative Cancellation Method:
If you’re unable to access your settings, you can also cancel by contacting the community admin directly. They should be able to handle the cancellation on their end.
For Free Trials:
If you’re on a free trial and want to avoid automatic charges, the cancellation process is similar. Navigate to the community settings, locate the specific group, and within membership settings, look for “Cancel Free Trial.”
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully cancel your Skool subscription. Remember, canceling your subscription only removes your access to the specific community you were subscribed to. It won’t affect any other Skool communities you might be a part of.
